| today is nigel's birthday. i cant afford to get him what i really want him to have (a laptop). so i need an interim gift to tide me over 'til some other special occassion (the man doesnt celebrate christmas). they hired a guy to assist/work alongside me so i have to train him etc. it'll be good to have some help up in here. phase 1 of the house thing is over and im so relieved! i can sleep in on the weekends now and everything. yesterday kandou ( my friend from high school) sent me a message on myspace. i hadnt spoken to this guy in years!! i was so excited to bump into him. after high school we used to call every once in a while but it seemed like his wife/gf/whoever just didnt want him to talk to us! she'd ask who was calling THEN say he wasnt at home. or say she'd pass on the message but he'd never call back (maybe he got the msg and just didnt call back, who knows). after a while i forgot his #. he lives near my old neighborhood and said he's seen my sister a couple of times. funny, that would be a couple more times than *i've* seen her. okay, i'm going to eat my tamarind now | ||||||
